• This unique artwork from Jan Keteleer provides an intriguing insight into the idea of beauty and its connection to color. Featuring an African girl holding a mask, this thought-provoking painting questions the arbitrary labels and judgments imposed on people based on their skin color. Depicting the subject matter through the use of a palette knife and vivid colors, this work brings depth and emotion to the idea of a unified humanity.

Created upon a high quality canvas, this artwork can be scaled to larger sizes. Prints are also available to enable the painting’s powerful message to be presented on other materials. Perfect for any avid art lover, this work by Jan Keteleer has a special way of connecting to its viewer, making it an item that will spark discussions and remain memorable for years to come.

 • When it rains, everything becomes the same color and people are styled by their rainwear and umbrella.
The hoods become blurred and the road surface becomes a river where you can no longer distinguish the stones from each other.

I wish to portray that feeling with this abstract work where you can distinguish two walkers who are invariably on their way to the red light far away from them.

Is it their home or an inn. Who knows?

 • I based this abstract work on a scene I recently saw in Antwerp.
In the diamond district there you see people completely dressed in black with a briefcase wndelen. Nothing special, you might say, but suddenly I see a big man walking in the rain. The water was pouring down; I was soaked but the man was holding his own. He was holding a small umbrella. He probably took his daughter's umbrella with him.

 • A painting of a girl diving is an interesting topic that was popular in the fifties and again gained popularity over the years. The subject matter itself does not involve diving but a girl diving brings the atmosphere of the summer in a nostalgic way. The subject matter is quite intriguing to most people and the painting itself is very appealing. Many different types of subjects can be used in a seaside painting such as seashells, flowers, windmills, or even a mermaid painting.

Paintings of a woman lying on a beach with a bouquet of wild flowers in her arms or even painting a girl wearing a bikini on a cliff with the sunset behind her. The choices for retro paintings are almost endless and each represents a different period in history.

Paintings of a girl diving into the sea wearing a bikini are very popular among people of all ages at all times of the year. Summer is the most popular season for these types of paintings as many girls love to go tanning under the sun.

Paintings range from portraiture to portraits to even abstract art paintings and if you are looking for an art painting to decorate your wall then you have to go for a fifties-style painting or a painting of a girl with a classic car. These art paintings are mostly inspired by famous people of that era, which have now become popular again. The fifties-style paintings are inspired by famous fashion designers such as Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Bob Marley, and even Elvis Presley. These paintings and portraits were done at that time and are some of the most sought after art paintings in museums all over the world. Such an art painting will capture the essence of the fifties style and will create a perfect focal point for any room where it is hung. For example, if you choose to hang this art painting in a girl's bedroom then it would be a better choice of art painting to hang over the bed.

A fifties-style painting on the other hand is a good idea to decorate your wall in a more retro style. It will make a great piece to accentuate the walls of your bedrooms, bathrooms, and even living rooms. In case you want to decorate your wall in a retro style, then you need to keep a few important things in mind. • Art painting in a retro style of a girl and a classic car can bring a lot of nostalgia and joy to anyone who understands the beauty of color. A well-painted wall can brighten up a room in any age, and many people love to hang art in this style because of all the bright colors and the beautiful landscapes that you can see through these paints. It is really up to you.

This kind of art painting can also bring back good memories for many people, and if you look at some of the famous artists who have created art in this style, you can start to see why this is so popular. Andy Warhol is one of the most famous artists who has done this style of art, and you can even find reproductions of his work around your house or office. If you are looking for a really nice abstract art piece, you might even consider having it framed and hanging on your wall in a room with a more traditional style of furnishings. You can also find many more pieces of art to decorate your wall in a Fifties style all at once.
• If there is one thing that can make me nostalgic about my youthful days, it's the thought of Girl wearing a bikini on the diving board. I don't care for the bikini anymore but when I see a girl in one I always think back to my earlier years. The fifties are a long-gone era and when you look back at them you may think that it was a different time altogether. Back then the world seemed to be at peace and people were more laid back. Things aren't quite as relaxed today, so I imagine that the concept of Girl wearing a bikini on the diving board may have crossed your mind at some point.

I actually did a painting once of a girl wearing a bikini on the diving board and it looked pretty good. Back then it was a popular thing to paint people in the fifties and you had to pay a lot of money to have any sort of artist do it. Today, if you just look around you can get some great artists who can do a great job. It isn't cheap painting and the results can be awesome if you get it on the right material.

 • I love to make fun of reality, especially when it comes to the color palette that makes up humanity. I have never been able to understand why people judge each other by the color of their skin. So what I want to do with this work from the PALETMES series is to question those colors by separating them into planes.
A technique very suitable for this is the use of paint applied with a palette knife rather than a brush. In this way you directly style the subject and so do the color palette

 • This work was created through my knowledge of classical and modern art techniques that I apply digitally. The work is part of my series that I dedicate entirely to the female image in our society and their struggle to be recognized. In this series I portray powerful women alongside women who are open to showing their emotions. The observant viewer will notice that I take a run at the prevailing art styles that I freely mix into one work. I do not feel bound to expressionism, impressionism, fauvism or even pop art, for example. I mix them in such a way to express that not one but all art styles are the best that has been developed before.

It is the same with people, there is no one better, more beautiful than the other; We are equal in all our differences has always been my point of view. Why I portray women the most is because I always stand up for the oppressed. It just so happens that many men hate women which I cannot understand.
• I created this work to remind us that conversation between people is important. conversation can solve problems, disputes, but it can also be comforting. Who is there to tell your story, the things that are sometimes hard to bear? A stranger will not immediately help you hear your story; friends will, they will listen to you and give you advice.

You see here two men, clearly workers, sitting at a table. One looks sad with his hands folded. The other man looks at him and holds out his hand; he wants to comfort the sad man, to give him a sign. I purposely chose a dark background and simplified the whole setup. Only two men and a suggestion of a table
Jan Keteleer is known for the ethereal light that his paintings often contain. Early in his career, he painted mostly purely abstract landscapes. Later in his career he began to incorporate more human figures.

 • Retro style painting of a girl on the beach is one of the most popular paintings in the style that was introduced in the 1950's. It is an icon of its time and it has now been incorporated into so many different styles that people can find it in many places today. The colors are bright and the pictures are great. It has become a very iconic painting and still is a very good painting for any house. In many homes you will find this painting hung and because of the beach theme, it brings a sense of freshness to the room.

Another great painting of a girl on the beach is called Retro Beach Girl and it shows a girl in the late 1960's enjoying the beach. This painting also has great color saturation and is printed on high quality canvas. It is a nice size and is printed on the back with an additional mirror facing the beach. This painting is great for any bedroom and has a fun, laid back feeling to it that kids love. If you are looking for a painting to hang up in your home, then you should consider Retro Beach Girl.

A girl on the beach needs her wardrobe to match the cool climate and to keep her protected from the sun and elements. She needs the right shoes too to help protect her feet. Retro style painting of a girl on the beach will help you find that right wardrobe to complete this look in your home. It looks great on top of any existing furnishings and gives a fresh new feeling to any room in your home. This summer, make your home reflect a new and refreshing attitude by hanging a Retro Beach Girl painting above your desk or hanging it over the mantle.

 • Retro style painting of a woman on the beach during the summer time is one of my most liked painting ideas. The main reason why I love this painting idea is because it gives you the feeling that you are on your own at a beach at an olden time, when life was very easy and simple. Nowadays life is very hectic and if you have not got a care in the world then you would not get this feeling at all. In fact you will find many women painting their bodies at home with different clothes on and you can see the inspiration as well.

This painting idea is a very famous painting done by artists of Retro style.

• When a girl wears a bikini on the diving board in the 60s, this was considered to be sexy. In fact, surfing was considered to be such a wild and sensuous sport that it was referred to as "surfing the waves." The bold and adventurous attitude of the surfers was often epitomized by a girl wearing a bikini on the diving board. The fifties-style girl wore clothing that showed her personality and sense of sex appeal. She was bold enough to rock a fifties-style skirt with a very revealing top.

It is evident that the fifties-style woman put more effort into her appearance than the modern day surfer. She desired to draw attention to her features while at the same time creating a more daring look. Just as the fifties style of dress meant that the woman was not afraid to draw attention to her best assets, the same can be said for the bikini. Although many of today's woman wear bikinis, they are often covered by clothing to keep them comfortable at the beach or pool side.

The fifties style was all about showing off what you had, while at the same time being in complete control of your sexuality. Today, many women have adopted these fashions from the past. They use the clothing to create an edgy, yet sexy look, which works well for many different types of people. Whether you are wearing jeans and sneakers, or a beautiful dress, wearing a bikini is a great way to let the world know that you are confident and fun, while at the same time letting it know that you belong on the great surfing team.

This work from the series Boys in a figurative style depicts boys who are locked in their world. A world that is not accessible to anyone else what it is his world. The style in which I painted this work I have built up from different figurative and impressionist styles used throughout the ages. The color palette is sober but colorful to once again emphasize the essence of the portrait.
