Veerle, the dancer, is pictured in a sepia toned black and white photo. The image was constructed from a lower field of vision, granting a statuesque and authoritative element to the dancer that is performing. While it can be argued that the sepia tones enhances the emotion of the photograph, this display of fine art has been created utilizing sepia tones in order to authenticate the lower stand of the camera shot, as well as the grandiose stance that Veerle is exhibiting. While the dancers head begins to fade into the backdrop, the attention is brought the foreground of the dancer’s majestic body. .
