The Jaguar E-Type was born to the blueprints of a sporty car. Designed by Jaguar's design engineers it is all about the understated beauty that only a well-made classic vehicle can bring to a person's awareness. It has all the charm and beauty of the racing cars of the 1960's without all the loud exhausts and obnoxious electronics of those times. In fact, its smallish, sleek, and fuel-efficient nature makes modern-day gas guzzlers like the Honda Civic and Ford Focus too small to be considered a sports car.

The great thing about this type of car is that it has such a low profile. Its body and interior are streamlined enough that it looks as if it's sitting on top of a hill. The E-Type also has a very low center of gravity, thanks to its short front overhang and high side skirts. It also has an easy to drive layout that makes it ideal for city streets. And even though it is a true sports car in its purest form, it is also very roomy inside due to its boot space, which is nearly twice that of the Ford Fiesta.

But perhaps the greatest asset the E-Type has over other classic sports cars of past years is its wide acceptance. You can find many vintage owners around the world, as its popularity soared during the last decade. It is a car that doesn't come with a built in stigma and is instead one that can be judged on its merits. And in that sense, Jaguar did it better than any of its competitors. That is why this type of car is a great buy for anyone who wants a great looking, roomy sports car that also happen to be comfortable, well built, and comfortable to drive.
