This painting is my favorite painting I have from my fifties retro style. ? The girl is lying on her back on the diving board.

I have no idea how this painting was supposed to look like but it did so that definitely fits in with the time period of the fifties. This painting is another example of my favorite painting that I have from my fifties retro style. This painting also has the same background as the first painting in this series, the same bright red color for the background, the blue sky and the white clouds.

In my opinion this is the best painting from the series, it is my favorite out of all the ones I have done in the past twenty years or so. I still get a thrill when I see paintings like this, even twenty years later. All in all this particular painting does not look like it is straight out of the fifties but I really cannot pinpoint where that is. Maybe it's just because the girl in the painting is in a good mood and enjoying the late afternoon sun. Regardless I love this painting and will always consider it one of my favorites, much more so than the ones with the bikini on the diving board.
