The most complete sports car in the world according to Ferrari's most renowned designerotto Pumerolaso was the Ferrari 250GT Spyder California. The stylish and aggressive styling of the Ferrari 250GT Spyder California is a performance automobile that pushes the limits of design, engineering, and beauty. This vehicle is the first model to use new materials such as carbon fiber composites which enable lightweight construction and increased strength. The new lightweight construction allows the seats and the entire body to be constructed using high-tech computer-assisted design and engineering and lightweight materials, making the Ferrari 250GT Spyder California the most extreme and aerodynamic model ever produced by Ferrari.

Unlike its predecessors the new Ferrari 250GT Spyder California incorporates some radical design and engineering concepts which are very much at odds with the more conservative design of earlier models. The model utilizes the most advanced and cutting-edge styling techniques and the body is entirely covered in carbon fiber to maximize aerodynamic efficiency. Styling is characterized by large, lower air intake vents that direct more air into the engine bay to improve cooling and increase horsepower, while optimizing side air vents minimize wake turbulence.

Ferrari also utilized its magnesium bodywork and aluminum front fenders and rear air vents to reduce weight, increase drag and improve down force. This design concept translated perfectly into the design and engineering of the new Ferrari 250GT Spyder California, which resulted in a car that could perform even better than its predecessors.
