The 1960's was a great decade for British cars, and Jaguar was a firm that helped make those years even better. In 1963 Jaguar made their first Jaguar MK2, and it was an incredible achievement for a small company. It was the most British car in the world at the time and had many more success stories to come. Many people like to think of the Jaguar MK2 as being a classic car, but it wasn't. That was because the company had a very bad year financially, and they didn't build any more cars for their domestic British market. This meant that the American market became their main focus, but they had a great marketing plan for it and released a number of different models throughout the year, including the Jaguar MK2.

The Jaguar MK2 may not be the most popular family car of its time, but the Jaguar MK2 is still one of the greatest. Like many great British companies, Jaguar has had a few disasters but overall it has done quite well and is still doing quite well. In fact the last few decades have seen it grow exponentially, from sales all over the world to just becoming a big part of the luxury segment in America, where it is still wildly successful.

I'd say the Jaguar MK2 is still the classic car, and the new models aren't too far behind. Though some older cars will always be better, I find that the newer versions of the Jaguar still do an excellent job. If you're looking for a family car, or even a sports car, the Jaguar is still one of the great choices.
