The Beechcraft 18 SNB-5 is another example of how the Beechcraft Company has been consistent over the years. This aircraft was introduced in a time when airplanes were really just starting to become popular and there were not as many models on the market. That is the basic reason why the Beechcraft as classic airplane still exists today, because they have a history that is built on experience and a good idea. In this painting of an airplane by Jan Keteleer it is interesting to see the use of color, which was utilized so much back then.

The painting gives you an idea of what Beechcraft was all about, but also the durability that the aircraft was known for. Although the Beechcraft brand is long gone, it doesn't mean that the quality of these planes have gone away. It is always going to be their top priority to produce a product that has a long life and is going to stand up to the Beechcraft history.
