The design of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano in 2006 is art by Pininfarina. During the designing process, the car was conceived as an expression of the Ferrari tradition starting with the Coupes. The evolution of the design is a logical and innovative expression of the continuous innovation, evolution, and continual re-designing of the Ferrari products especially the Cars. The evolution of the car in terms of the interior and exterior design is a conscious effort to keep with the tradition but also to give a modern look to a concept that is almost a revolution in the automotive world. Starting with the front section, the new Ferrari has been designed keeping in mind that in times of past, people seldom used to see people on the roads using their head phones or listening to music using ear buds and mobile phones.

The new Ferrari has been conceived keeping in mind the fact that the users will be using their hands for driving and most of the functions of the car. Therefore, the front and rear section of the car have been designed to suit the hand-held gadgets and features that are commonly carried by mobile phone users today. A 3D image of the car is being developed using the CAD program. This helps in understanding the performance of the performance part or the engine of the car. Once the performance part has been identified, it is easier to incorporate the performance part into the design and ensure that it follows the exact performance of the original Ferrari. In the case where there are multiple performance parts such as the exhaust pipes and the functional valve guides, the designers have to make a coordinate drawing between the performance parts.

Another important feature of designing a car nowadays is the concept of recycling and the reuse of the cars. The designing process should start from the idea of reusing the cars. This is very important to show the impact of designing a car apart from just using it for its utility. I
