Animal women symbols 18 images Created 24 Sep 2023
This collection was born from the profound connection I feel between the natural world and the essence of femininity. Animals, in all their grace, strength, and instinct, have long been vessels of symbolism across cultures and mythologies. These depictions often mirror human qualities—both celebrated and misunderstood. For me, they became the perfect reflection of femininity in its many forms.
Through these paintings, I sought to intertwine my own personal exploration of womanhood with the universal stories animals have come to represent. A serpent might coil to embody wisdom and renewal; a doe might stare back, symbolizing vulnerability paired with inner strength. These creatures became guides, helping me articulate traits often overlooked or undervalued in women—resilience, intuition, tenderness, and power.
Creating this collection felt like a dialogue between the seen and the unseen. The animals depict more than appearances; they carry the weight of qualities women so often hide or are discouraged from celebrating. My brushstrokes aim to blend raw independence with delicate vulnerability—a duality that resides within us all.
This work is an invitation. May these images resonate, encouraging others to reflect on their own stories, their own strength, and their shared connection to the natural world.
